μια μεγάλη βόλτα

Σήμερα πήγα μια μεγάλη βόλτα. Η πρώτη μετά το χειρουργείο μου!

Συνάντησα τη φίλη μου "Β" σε γειτονική μου πόλη. Ο καιρός μας έκανε τη χάρη και δεν έβρεξε, παρα μόνο είχε σύννεφα. Μια τυπική μέρα του Νοέμβρη, χάρηκα τη βόλτα στη θάλασσα...την παρέα, τις φωτογραφίες, το φαγητό έξω, τη θέα, το κρασί. Ήταν όλα όμορφα και σε σωστές δόσεις.

Με τη "Β" επισκεφτήκαμε μια έκθεση φωτογραφίας και την προσοχή μας τράβηξε μια φωτοιστορία με τίτλο "Emy & Ana", για μια φιλία δυνατή, την απώλεια της μιας φίλης λόγω δυστυχήματος και τη διερεύνηση του ερωτήματος "τι μπορεί κανείς να αντλήσει απο την απώλεια κάποιου". Βρήκαμε και οι δύο την ιστορία αυτή συγκινητική και αποφάσισα να μεταφέρω τις εικόνες κι εδώ για να τη μοιραστώ με όλους εσάς.

"Emy and Ana cannot live without each other. These best friends are the same age but have some kind of a mother-daughter relationship. After an accident, they have to face the terrible situation of being separated.
My work is focused on transcendence. I am currently exploring the theme of death from an optimistic perspective; What can the loved ones bring us after their demise? Can they help us transform our suffering into strength, into wisdom? Can we somehow extend their lives? 
"Emy & Ana" is intended to be a metaphor of the transition to adulthood, through the relationship between the living and the dead."
